Loving on the new colt.

Ryder was born at 6:15 am.  He is a beautiful smokey black.  Ryder has a star and a small snip with socks on his back legs.  Being a little wobbly at first, he now can run around his stall with ease.  I spent about 4 hours rubbing on him, just to let him know who I was.  Everyday since then, he will get up and walk over to me wanting petted.  Like his daddy, Dakota Chance he is tall and all legs.  His back legs are nicely curved for what should be a pretty 4 beat gait.  Having him and momma healthy is wonderful and now he can live out his life right here on the farm.

Come back and watch how I change and grow.  Please leave a comment on the home page for me.

I would like to thank Marty and Shelia for giving me the chance to breed to their beautiful horse.  I also would like to thank Brian Little for actually breeding the two and for helping me get my first colt born healthy.
